Afghan Child Education and Care Organization (AFCEC0) is an Afghan non-profit organization based in
Kabul
and founded in 2008 with a mission of working for Afghan children. This newly established organization was registered with Afghan government as a non-governmental and non-political organization.
AFCECO plans to help the most suffering Afghan kids at various levels, which does not include only food, clothes and shelter but proper education, health care and a safe environment. These objectives will be accomplished by different activities like having standard and quality orphanages and schools, child health care clinics and various publications and workshops.
AFCECO aims to bring up the next generation of Afghan citizens that are badly affected by the three decades of war in
Afghanistan
. We implement creative solutions to these legacies of war, providing not only food, shelter, clothing and education but to help them grow into productive members of a civic society.
AFCECO plans to work with international partners to implements its projects for the children. At present, AFCECO works closely with CharityHelp International (www.charityhelp.org), a US-based organization on project called Child Sponsorship Program (www.charityhelp.org/afceco) that was launched in the late 2004. Nearly 300 children who have been sponsored by individuals around the world who are being cared by AFCECO orphanages in
Afghanistan
and
Pakistan
.
